After graduating from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University in Tbilisi as an Animation Film Director, he continued his studies at the Vienna Film Academy in the Film Directing class, where he directed several short fiction and documentary films. Between 1993 and 2000, he worked at the animation studio Kvali, and from 2004 to 2008, he contributed to television production in Georgia, working on reality shows and documentary programs.

In 2008, he co-founded Artefact Production, where he has since focused on creative documentary filmmaking, taking on roles in directing, editing, cinematography, and web design. His films are known for their observational and socially engaged approach, often exploring human stories, cultural dynamics, and the intersection of personal and societal change. He blends documentary realism with experimental techniques, emphasizing intimate storytelling and visual sensitivity.

He also works as a project consultant and editor on diverse media projects, including both documentary and fiction films, supporting the development and realization of creative visions.

In addition, he teaches documentary filmmaking and editing at several institutions in Georgia, including GIPA, Caucasus University, and Black Sea International University, and has delivered workshops and masterclasses for emerging filmmakers in the region.
